Why Mandalas, and Why Watercolor???

Creative fun with watercolor and gel pens.

This practice happened “accidentally” while testing out a homemade watercolor palette I purchased back in 2024.  At the time I was researching mandalas and their use in mindful practices, and thus they came together as ONE to be shared with others as a great tool for wellness.

“Watercolor Mandalas for Mindfulness” has been offered as a Creative Embodiment Event several times now, and it evolves each time.  Through the process of moving water (which simulates moving emotions within the body and mind) and the act of repetitive mark making (which removes old programming and patterns by wiring new coding within the neuro network of the brain) offers an opportunity to evolve thought process and action, rather than auto repeat.

I’ve come to LOVE this practice.  It is in my weekly repertoire for energy movement, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing AND creative JOY!!!

Some things are exactly this simple; adding a creative practice to your routine can be as beneficial as going for a 20-minute walk in nature – or practice them both for added ‘full BE-ing’ benefit.  Either way, we are energized, refreshed, and calmed in the process.

If you are interested, there are a couple spots still available this upcoming Sunday, March 15th from 1 PM – 3pm.  Cost is $44 and all supplies are included for creating several watercolor mandalas that you can continue to add to, at home, in the upcoming days/weeks.

Follow the below link to reserve your seat with purchase, and hop on over to my Facebook Page and respond “GOING” to Event.

I am an empath who writes and creates art derived from emotion intuitively connected to the Spirit realm. I mostly create with water mediums, yet I often combine many mediums including graphite, colored pencil, inks, paint pens, markers, collage, and most recently resin. I enjoy incorporating organic and inorganic material to create layered and complex designs that resonate with the multi-dimensionality of humans and what Spirit brings through while creating.
