Aurora is the namesake of the Greek goddess of the Dawn. Galileo coined the phrase Aurora Borealis to describe the dancing lights illuminating the night sky leading up do dawn. But in all instances, aurora describes an illuminated rainbow of colors displayed in the dark skies above, typically in the northern hemisphere. Yet, in the current climate, most of the entire earth was able to view this natural phenomenon of photon light entering our atmosphere. So many humans experiencing an incident over a little more than 24-hour period, bringing a sense of wonderment, joy, and beauty. It burst open hearts, and many forgot the chaos for a time while they bathed in a spectacular colored LIGHT.

I wish I had words for what it felt like, but there are none. I tried to capture it in watercolor paintings, and although they are wonderful, it would require more than a verbal or visual expression alone. The feeling was all encompassing peace, gratitude, and awareness of the likeness of each Soul to one another. Each of us is a fractal of light on earth creating an incredible stage show for the universe to witness and mirror, just as we witnessed the incredible color waves combining as a light show and mirror for us.

The one thing that stands out the most after this past weekend to me is, can we be motivated to BE loving at any given moment, even when challenged. How we receive anything in our lives IS completely reliant on the perception of reality, and how we CHOOSE to act/react to any given circumstance. Is it “good or bad,” “easy or hard,” “empowering or disempowering?” The choice always remains fluid, yet we are responsible for consequences that manifest from the choices. We also can change our perception in an instant when experiences offer another perspective. Is the glass half full or half empty?

Perhaps it can be both at the same time. Perhaps good and bad can be experienced simultaneously, and instead of a subscription to a polarized outcome, we allow all to BE. Without the dark sky, the Aurora would not be visible. The sky didn’t reject the light, the sky was magnified in beauty in spite of the darkness. Humans have a tendency to ignore, disregard, or hide what we don’t like to see. We would rather turn from them than look directly at the issue and root it out. If there is one thing that I’ve learned over my 47 years, is that you cannot run away or hide from any darkness, it follows us and can consume us if we ignore it. We all are BEings of light, literally our bodies are light and sound waves within varying elemental equations creating physical matter. We can literally change anything we choose to through intention and authentic means. So, rather than fear the darkness within our BEing, be courageous and learn from it.

Perhaps, this weekend offered a reminder to view from outside our “normal” capability and look into the darkness for the glimmers of light that already exist and perhaps were just too afraid to acknowledge.

Only LIGHT can look at darkness and see its purpose, however, darkness isn’t aware of light ’til it BEcomes illuminated.

I will be adding to my shop and hosting a “Studio Blowout” sale in the upcoming weeks. There are so many wonderful and profound messages coming in from the Angelic BEings, I am having a difficult time keeping up. So many NEW ideas and insights to share with the world. BE well, and, as always…”In all you say and all you do, simply BE authentically YOU!” Tammy

In Latin, Aurora means dawn.
